Evening/Late Evening - First Floor Corridor steuerparadies October 23 2011, 02:45:03 UTC
[Liechtenstein just about turn into the corridor that leads to the 'Puff Common Room when the announcements ring through Hogwarts, both from some students and the professors. The video feed had been most disconcerting. Creatures of this place, she had heard of it. But that--the Inferi--is something that chills her blood. A living corpse, so to speak. Just much worst.

Heeding Snape's orders, she turns around back to where she came from. If the Inferi are attacking from the dungeons, then the only escape route is up! Taking her wand out, she takes a few deep breaths to calm herself and begins to repeat the spell under her breath, ingraining it into her memory, hoping that she wouldn't need to use it.]

[After a quick test to see if his Incendio was strong enough to at least severely impede an Inferi's movement, Agito immediately makes his way to the lower floors and begins attacking any of the creatures he sees that may block the evacuation routes.

There aren't many students left, but he's helped a few of the younger students get away. Akito is lending him his strength, and the added power makes this feel more like a game than anything else.]

[For one who isn't keen to use spells to harm others, Liechtenstein sees that there is no choice but to use the Incendio spell when the need arises. More often than not, it's not strong, but sufficient enough to give her a split moment to escape.

There's just so many of those frightening creatures, and more appearing. She quickens her step, turns a corner and very nearly runs into something. She whips her wand out, the spell at the tip of her tongue before she manages to hold herself back as she recognises her fellow housemate.]

Akito! [Or not. His twin, perhaps?]

No.

[He keeps his wand aimed at her face for a moment, then angles it so that it can shoot at anything that might come up behind her.]

Was there anyone else coming this way?

[Liechtenstein tenses at the tone and the wand aiming straight at her. Then she lower hers just as the other boy aims it slightly elsewhere.

She shakes her head and steps aside.]

Nein, I was the only one so far.

Aki-- You're not Akito, right?

I already said I wasn't.

[Most people should be on the upper floors at this point, and so Agito decides to seal off the pathway with powerful flames.]

Incendio!

[A wall of flames sprouts up from his swooping arm gesture, and he feels somewhat pleased. Easy shit. Just like that fucking Trick of Spitfire's. It's been tiring though - mentally taxing in a way he's not used to. Which is annoying.]

Those dumbshit profs can look after the rest of the fucking pathways.

[Indeed he did, and she jumps back just in time when the spell is cast. What surprises her more is his language and mannerism, almost as if he's someone entirely differently. Something like a Jekyll & Hyde.]

...who are you? [She asks warily, her fingers tightening around her wand. It wouldn't do to be suspicious of their own possible allies when there's that dark wizard out there they're supposed to fight against.]

[With the corridor effectively (and temporarily) sealed off, he turns his back on her and begins sauntering off. He can take his time retreating, and does so.]

Agito.

[He seems disinterested in her, and instead goes about conjuring some Blue Bell flames. He's not very skilled at it compared to Akito, and so uses this time to practice. Eventually, he manages to conjure some very weak, blue flames onto his hand.

Akito is pleased with the progress, and agrees with Agito's opinion of it being totally cool. Like something out of a comic book.]

[Agito is like the polar opposite of Akito, distinguishable by the placing of their eye-patch, among other things. Liechtenstein looks back at the wall of fire, relieved that at least it will slow the Inferi down.

She moves nearer to him, hesitates for a moment then asks.] Aren't you going to the Gryffindor Tower? It's too dangerous here.

[He waves at her dismissively without even glancing in her direction. He can hear her and smell her, there's no need to see her as well.]

They haven't hit the second floor yet. I'm going to get some books.

I'll follow you then.

[Whether it's to keep an eye on him or not, it hardly matters. Even though Liechtenstein has a feeling that Agito is able to properly defend himself.]

Please. [She adds after a thought.]

Fuck, as if I care.

[He'll continue to practice the blue bell flames spell the entire way to the library, covering bugs with flames that don't burn them. It amuses him.]

[Well, at least that isn't an outright rejection of her offer. So she quietly tags along behind him, keeping a comfortable distance away.

There are a few students scurrying in the opposite direction, a few stopping enough to warn them and heed their advice to the Gryffindor Tower. She nods her thanks, but will stay a little longer with Agito.]

[When he reaches the library he knows exactly what section to look in and makes quick work of grabbing the books he wants. The librarian is still there, bitchy as ever and keen on protecting the books. She does, however, let him sign out the books as long as he gets the fuck out right afterward.

So he does, since it's not like he wants to hang out in a stuffy old library with a stuffy old librarian anyway.]

[While Agito goes to look for the books he wants, Liechtenstein stays near front desk and tries to explain to Madam Pince. She likes the witch well enough, who's helpful when she needs to look for a specific topic.

This isn't one of those times, but Agito gets the books he needs, and they're out of the library.]

The Gryffindor Tower. Are you coming now?

No.

[He has no inclination to be shoved in a cramped room filled with panicked students.]

It'll be too fucking obnoxious. There's a study room in the same hallway. If you really wanna check out the goddamn tower I'm gonna be passing by that Fat Lady or whatever the fuck the entrance is.
