Hey, look! I got a "Poor Daniel" icon!
Because my brain is incapable of focusing on the things I actually need to be writing, I got an idea for a short, silly little SG-1 fic dealing almost entirely with Daniel's nonexistent alcohol tolerance. Basically, it would go like this.
1) SG-1 goes to another planet and meets some wacky civilization.
2) They're invited to some kind of celebratory feast, at which Head Offworld Guy proposes a series of Russian-style "drink the whole darn cup, guys" toasts to their new friendship. Daniel tries to weasel out, but they take the gravest offense at this and he joins in in the spirit of diplomacy.
3) Daniel getsh upragioushly drunk and startsh bladerinn abhaut ghod knowsh wha. Eventually Jack has to have Sam take him home.
4) Jack decides it'd be a good idea to take Daniel back to his place for a few days and, goddamn it, teach the boy how to hold his liquor.
5) Catastrophe ensues.
