This is the first thing I've completed out of the Creepy Cute book. I'm excited :) Sewing it and gluing all the little parts together is actually harder than crocheting them, in my opinion. Still fun though :)
NINJA!
I also have the crocheted parts for a grim reaper, and most of a Cthulhu. The tentacles are turning out to be kind of hard to do though since the directions aren't great and I don't really know what to do. I mangled one tentacle on, but I'm not 100% happy with how it looks. I'm hoping Kané might be able to help me sort out what to do once he's done with work. (Grr him having to work both last night and today :( )
I'm quite fond of this new skill I taught myself :) I have a few things in mind to make, some out of the book, like an army of zombies, and some using this style to make things that aren't in the book, such as a pirate (the hat's going to be... interesting to figure out) and a little red devil. A much more involved project I have in mind is to crochet Discworld. A big turtle, four elephants, and hopefully a multicolored disc on top of the elephants. That one's going to take quite some time though, and I'll have to find patterns for the animals.
The apartment's going to be overrun by little crocheted critters, and it's going to be great :D
