One Short Day, in the Emerald City. . .
Got horribly thwarted. I have minimal clothing on this trip, most of it being for interviews and such. So, I dinnae have clothing for traipsing through the city today by myself, considering today is very chilly and wet. No keep warm and not wet gear with me. Sadness. Mopey Roki.
On the other hand, day six will be spent indoors on, something.
Crap, a lot of you may not know. I haven't posted in a while. Anyway, I am in Seattle (or near enough) have been for six days (today) will be for another two weeks or so. I am up here job hunting and vacationing. No, my boy is not with me. I have a couple of friends here, but, alas, I am here on vacation and they are still working.
So, to make things entertaining.
I love this place. It doth rock much. I could live here easily. With joy and vigor even. The job hunting is going well, and goodness do they throw great parties up here. I went to the Erotic Arts Festival this past Saturday, and it was awesome. Wish I had been able to make the entire weekend of the event, but what I got to see was awesome. Got to meet and talk with Midori for a while and her wife. Made some tentatively new friends. Only poor planning on my part has me sitting at the house instead of running around the Emerald City. Must do some light shopping, or have the boy express ship stuff to me.
Also, getting some writing done. Coffee shops are awesome for writing btw.
