So, its been a bit of a while since I was on with anything resembling news, information, or hell, even humor. Life has taken some wierd paths for me as of late, and I am trying to be as a leaf in the wind. Which is hard for a hard, crusty and and sharp edged boulder that I am.
So, on Saturday I leave for the Inevitible City, damn you Dark Emperor, Emerald City (although it is looking more and more that he is the more correct in this). My job hunting out there is going so much better than my attempts here that comparison is offensive and debased. Normally things I enjoy, but not so much when it involves the money through which I am trying to live. Thus, across the mountains, rivers, forrests and farms, and then mountains and rivers again.
If I have not seen you to say goodbye, I am sorry. The plan was: Last week: Sunday, cut out coat for Skin 2 parties that weekend. Monday, see the Faerie Witch and hang out with her. Tuesday, finish coat and laundry. Wednesday, hang with ex boss and ship out some things I will need while in my extended visit to Seattle. Thursday, friend visits. Friday. Skin 2. Saturday, Digi-Q, then Skin 2 pt 2. Sunday, home to see family.
None of this happened. Cut out coat worked. The rest of the week was spent TRYING TO GET THE GODSFORSAKEN THING TOGETHER. As a note, sheer fabric was designed by lucifer to destroy the sanity of the tailor. So, everything was behind, and I am STILL not caught up on my tasks. My visit home to see family and some friends over two days, turned into one LONG day of only family, doctors, alzheimer ridden granny, deranged autie from across the pong, then home. Pant wheeze.
I wil never catch up I think.
In any event, I have no choice. Saturday is comming and there is no mercy and no remorse. Just, if you can, please try to draw Luke out of the house whilst I am gone. I don't want him to sit here and hermit. He will. Trust me.
To answer some questions. No, I am not planning on attending Con. Too expensive for DragonCon itself, and a flight back is just not feasible. I will be at the Rockabilly King's wedding, and may be home for a week or so (depending on job situation) so there is that. Otherwise, baring changes, disaster, oh and life itself, I may well not be back on this coast (there is wedding) till the holidays. So, have a great rest of the year. I am sad to go, but, well, the market here sucks and I've got to do something.
