The Scorpion King
Another average film. This was nowhere near as good as the Mummy and the Mummy Returns. Fortunately it's a stand alone film so doesn't really need to be compared against these two.
It was a standard adventure movie.. "conan meets the mummy".. which probly had little basis in fact. Some of the characters were cool, the women were cute, the men weren't. The acting wasn't particularly good, so basically it's nothing to write home about.
The evil bad guy reminded me terribly of Valentine Pelka.. and I'm sure Kronos would have fitted the role perfectly.. maybe this is how he died his first death. ;) And at one point I'm sure they called the sorceress "Cassandra" (trying to base it into history I'm sure.. history that wouldn't have even happened at that time).
Well.. at least Dwane Johnson was cuter than Conan.
