I've got a real sword, after all those years!
I have finally been able to find and purchase the perfect weapon - after years of training with an oddly-balanced thing and now with a retractable one (better balanced than the old thing I have, though). It was sheer luck I bumped into it, but as I was told I needed a real sword by the master himself, and the thought of my unbalanced training piece did not bring much joy to me, the timing was perfect, too.
The perfect size, the perfect balance, very little decoration (I really don't like those overdecorated display pieces). I need a new fluffy thing, though, the one that came with the sword is a master's one, I'd get entangled in it :D Though I might give it a try, it's what I started with before I learned of the shorter ones.
Hand-forged, folded steel blade ... it's incredible. Again, very gentle decoration.
I am exulted. Just don't ask how much the thing cost me. THAT I want to forget, real, real fast!
