The delighted laughter of a 9-year-old boy rang in the room.
“Thanks, Uncle Harry and Draco! This is the best birthday present ever!”
The couple smiled as Ron’s and Hermione’s son immediately started playing with the miniature of the Hogwarts Express that he’d received. Lights twinkled in the windows and they could see smoke puffing quietly from the small funnel in the first compartment.
Harry looked at Draco, who was showing the boy how to build the tiny railroad track that had come with the train. He still couldn’t believe that it’d been exactly 14 years since their first kiss.

Ron Weasley opened the door to the hallway of the Hogwarts Express. On the way home one last time, Harry had disappeared and Ron, ignoring Hermione’s protests, was determined to find his friend. Friends with Malfoy or not, Harry was still obliged to ride in the same compartment as his best mates.
As Ron stepped out into the hallway, he was greeted by a sight that he definitely wasn’t expecting. Harry was in the hallway, pinned up against the wall, and extremely passionately kissing a certain Prince of Ferrets.
Ron, resisting the urge to puke, went quietly back to Hermione.

Later that day, at their apartment, Draco took Harry’s hand.
“Remember our first kiss?”
“How could I forget?” Harry chuckled, “Hermione said that she’s never seen Ron so pale.”
“When I bought the train for the kid, I couldn’t help but to think of us two that last year in Hogwarts… And how that first kiss on the train was my dream come true.”
“You know what my dream come true is?” Harry asked and pulled Draco closer to him on the sofa. “It’s you, right here next to me.”
Draco pressed a gentle kiss on his husband’s soft lips.
