OK, so I talked to the Lt. Cmdr. in the Navy Friday, and he was pretty good, too. He was honest about what ship life is like (if you're wondering, it sucks!), but he also reassured me about the my atypical personality and the more relaxed life in the Navy compared to the Army and Marines (Air Force is still the most relaxed, though) He even said he hasn't had to get up at revelry and all that in 20 years. Plus, he's been to ten countries in the past year alone. Egads, I would love to travel that much, even if it's just for business and I don't get to see the country all that much.
