So, today I talked with a Major in Intel from the Air Force who has a husband in the Army, and the Air Force is really sounding like the place for me to be. They want Intel people right now and are the most open about personalities and are laid back (the Major even said she was pagan, none type A, and would probably be in Greenpeace if she wasn't in the Air Force, and despite this none-stereotypical nature, she fits in fine). Not that the Navy is bad on these points; they are good-better than the Army from what she sees from her husband-but still second to the Air Force. Plus, the Air Force places great value on education, even helping personel get their second masters degree in subjects not necessarily pertinent to their fields. The only problem I really see is that their uniform is my least favourite and their OCS is in Texas. I'm probably gonna talk to a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy tomorrow (or sometime soon), but it will be hard for him top top anything besides the uniform from what I heard about the Air Force from the lady Major. Now if only my eyes were good enough to fly and I trusted LASIK/PRK enough...
Either way, the Army is definitely out of the picture.
