(no subject)
Hmmm, haven't done a RL post in a while.
So. Work. Is busy as usual. I finally got the Task From Hell finished today! As in, proper finished, done, dusted, and put to bed. this made me happy.
Although, I started to get a migraine at work this afternoon. It started just after lunch so I thought I'd try my Sumatriptan and see what happened since I wouldn't be driving home. I did as it said, I'd eaten my lunch about 30 mins before so it wasn't on a empty stomach and I drank a big glass of water with the pill...about 15 mins later, I felt kinda stoned! Eek! I felt very lightheaded, kept switching between hot flushes and shivers and felt a little bit sick. That lasted about two hours (and while you're working at a computer, this gets filed in the box of Not Fun!) and I called OH from work and asked him to come pick me up at 5 because I really didn't feel up to walking home. Got home, sat quietly on the sofa for an hour and had a little nap. Woke up and OMG! Migraine GONE!

I can cope with feeling a little woozy if it gets rid of the impending three-day-long migraine! Gonna have to watch it if I'm driving though.

I feel really fucking OLD for getting excited about this, but I've found an old model of Kirby for sale for £100! Hopefully going to pick it up on Thursday. I really wanted a new model, but there's no way I can afford a brand new one and the Gsix model I'm (hopefully!) getting is just as good as the newer ones. Just hoping it's in a decent condition.
Also, I found a blender I want. We still have Argos vouchers left over from our engagement party, so I'm getting a blender. I've wanted one for ages, since I broke two in the space of about six weeks making liver cake for the dog. Lol. I've had to promise I will only use it for people food this time. Heh.
I want to make soup. I don't know why, but I have the urge to make my own soup. So...lay your soup recipes on me. :)

I have three days left at work and then a WHOLE WEEK off! :D OH has the week off too. :)
At the weekend were going down to Twickenham to see his friends and stay with them Saturday and Sunday night. We're gonna go to the London Wetland Centre on Monday and do some twitching! Heh! Did you know it's the only wetland centre in the entire world that's in a capital city? :) We're also planning on going down to Titchwell Marshes some time next week. Gotta get our money's worth out of that RSPB membership. :)
