Wow. I forgot how much I love this show. It lost my interest for a while there, but what an ending! Sylar having an identity crisis is just a terrifying thought! I'm kind of insanely happy to see him back to his old self near the end though. Heh. Zachary Quinto does it best when he does crazy serial-killer with superpowers. *g*
I still can't quite work Noah out. Is he really on their side? Or does he have some ulterior motive? Or is his only goal truly just to protect Claire? There's still a little nagging doubt in my head that he's not entirely on one side or the other. I adored him going a bit nuts and almost shooting Sandra. And it was great that Sandra got to be a real character for a change in this season. :)
Hiro and Ando still make me giggle so much (Toddler Touch-and-go, heh), but poor Hiro!! :( I am not happy about this. :(
Oh, and speaking of not happy....Daphne?? *cries* Why'd they have to go and do that? That last scene with her and Matt had me sniffling lots. And I must say he seems to be over it fast.
The very end though...holy crap! Did they really think it would be that easy? Just convince Sylar that he's Nathan? I was kind of annoyed at the teaser for Volume 5 at first (in an "OMG that's so unfair, wanna see it nowwwww!!" way), but the teaser is actually perfect. Just such a little hint of doubt that gets the mind ticking over.
Loved the homage to LOTR with Sylar's personality switching, especially his mother. Dude has serious mummy issues. And the part at the end where they burn Darth Vader Sylar.
