(no subject)
Long last two days. Not going to explain, but it was just long. My mom took the twins over night the night before, and she finally got see how much of a handle they are. Maybe she'll stop bitching about how I never get anything done, but knowing her it won't end.
I've been looking at scholarships, and there are a very small number of them available right now, but I'll keep looking. It also hit me tonight that I haven't been looking for essay contests. When I was younger I used to win essay contests left and right. Same went for poetry contests. I can crank good essays out like nothing, so blanketing these contests shouldn't be too hard. I just need to find a bunch, and see what happens. I mean it's been over 10 years since I've last entered one, but from the comment from my English teacher on Thursday I think it's pretty evident that I have not lost my touch. I'll try it out, and see what happens. You never know.
Both me and Jyl got our 1099's for 2008, so my mom is gonna come over and do our taxes for us. She did Jyl's last year, and she's always done mine, and it'll be nice to see what we'll be getting this year, so we can start planning for the future a little bit more.
