The silence continued. Frances wasn't sure what to do. Should he keep talking or wait for Tank to break the silence? Tank was looking down, his eyes darting from side to side. Frances wasn't sure how to interpret this. Was this a mistake? Was it wrong to want Tank as bad as he did? Was it wrong to want to be held in his strong arms while they slept, to want his kisses all over his body, to hold hands while they walked, officially claiming each other, writing off all others? Did his heart lead him astray?
"Frances..........you, you want me?"
