Ever since he caught Tank shirtless in the kitchen, Frances noticed that he had been avoiding him. After over a week of awkward side glances, he knew it was time to clear the air. Frances approached Tank while he was watching TV.
"Tank, there's something I need to say."
"Oh....really? We don't have to talk now...."
"No, the silence ends now." Frances paused to find the courage he needed. "Tank, I like you more than just a friend. There's nothing I want more than to be with you, but if you're not interested, I understand."
The silence that followed was almost enough to drive Frances insane.
