Metal doesn't get sick, per say, but if viruses get past his anti-virus system, he'll lag, move erratically, and eventually shut down if it's not stopped (not before he gets five million system errors) So, blue screen death kind of moment. He's waterproof, so he can't rust.

Knuckles

1. He’s at his happiest when he’s protecting the people he loves. Nothing pleases him more than to keep them safe and happy, and for them to look up to him as a protector.

2. As a child he was tall and skinny due to abuse/starvation. As an adult he’s average height and muscular. (It took him a LOT of hard work to get muscular, it should be noted) He would be tall as an adult if not for the starvation/abuse.

3. He only lets people he trusts (and people he considers no threat, but he’s quite wary) see him sleep. Consequently, he is also an extremely light sleeper, and he nearly always has nightmares (That he never, ever, discusses. Ever.)

4. Though he acts intimidating, when people are afraid of him he is quite uncomfortable. The closer they are to him, the more it bothers him to have them afraid of him.

5. He has a very low opinion of himself. Most people don’t realize how hard on himself he is. Though it gets higher after [spoilers] happens, it never gets very high.

Sally1. Sometimes she’s amazed that Knuckles is still her ally, though she is well aware of his unwavering loyalty. She wants to get closer to him, but she has no idea how. (This may be related to #5

Also might explain why I don't call her a princess very often and am iffy on the subject.

Sonic

1. He has a deep-rooted fear of failure. He loses it when he fails at anything. It’s not just his ego.

2. When he’s angry with someone, he’s passionate and he holds a grudge. He will never let the subject drop (and get progressively more and more nasty) unless he manages to calm himself, or someone forces him to drop it.

3. Though he’s a massive flirt, he gets pretty hissy about other men being around Sally and giving her attention.

4. He feels that manipulating someone’s trust and using them as a pawn is the worst thing that can be done to someone.

5. He gets very depressed if he can’t run.

Shadow1. Hates Knuckles intensely, partially because Knuckles held onto his morals and never blamed anyone else for being under Robotnik’s thumb and the misery that that ensued (While Shadow did.) And also because while he is Robotnik’s “pet”, Robotnik’s pretty much using him to replace Knuckles

Vector

1. The entire Chaotix have little “titles” to describe their character in a few words. Vector’s is “Voice of Reason”.

2. He’s never eaten an echidna, (or even tasted one) but he occasionally has cravings. He once attended “Echidna Eaters Anonymous” to help him get them under control. totally not a finding Nemo homage, nooo

3. Though he has an obscenely large appetite and eats quite a lot, he’s always been skinny, and can’t seem to gain much weight.

4. He loves kids and little people. A lot. He loves to put them up on his shoulders so they feel tall.

5. His parents were killed trying to break up a gangfight, and one of the gangs took him in.
