I remember reading that phrase on my mom's car mirror when i was little and thinking that it was some sort of mystical statement. "You may see one thing, but don't trust your eyes! With the magical side-view mirror, objects in mirror are closer than they appear! OOOOOhhh AHhhhhhh. Why don't they just put "You don't know shit, what you are seeing is WRONG!" on the mirror and forget the whole thing? Does that little phrase even help anyone anyways? Have you ever once looked into your mirror, taken the time to actually read that piece of shit little phrase, and then think to yourself "Oh yeah! Those objects in that mirror are closer than they appear! I should be extra careful now, knowing that the shit i'm looking at could be right on top of me." And how much closer than they appear are they? It's not like I look into that mirror and see an airplane in the sky behind me when it's really flying directly over me. It seems like this differece in closeness is rather minute and isn't even worth mentioning to the driver. If they're gonna do it, why not use this wonderful phrase on other mirrors? Why not make mirrors for bathrooms in Hollywood that say "Struggling actors in mirror are less successful than they appear"? Or they could start making motivational mirrors that say "Objects in mirror are more attractive than they appear". Or they could make ones that just state the obvious like "Objects in mirror are older than they once appeared"
Sorry about that, once i start, i can't stop.
Two finals down, one more to go. Then I'm free. It is definitely time for summer. I'm ready for work and hang out time with old SB crew.
Oh, and some words of advice. Running in flip flops for a long distance so that you turn in your final on time is not a good idea....my feet hurt. So, because of this, i decided to get myself a milkshake and just chill here in the UU for a little while.
Tomorrow is my physics final and i don't know if i'm gonna be ready for it or not. Defintiely need to do some studying for that tonight....or tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, we'll just have to see how that goes...
