Caught this brilliance from The Guardian. Essentially it's a blog post about what could be the most amazing press release ever: Rolex are taking the credit for Owen Wilson recovering from his suicide attempt. The key line is:

Hey now - how do you know that a Rolex didn't save Clive Owen's life? I think it's a bit presumptuous to claim to know what helped Mark Owen through that dark period of his life.

The simple efficiency of the Rolex, the way it worked in harmony with its surroundings, reminded Owen of his place in the Universe, and with that, his need to self harm receded. He was calm again, thanks to the stylish Rolex. It was as though his timepiece was his guardian angel, watching over him.
