A must see?
I'm going to violate my own rule and see a major/potential blockbuster on the opening weekend. My exception to the rule - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It has taken awhile to become a fan - in fact in the beginning I sneered at the HP movies (and their fandom) as IF they could even remotely measure up to Jackson's LOTR.
It doesn't - but it's more along the lines of comparing apples to oranges than any real reflection of the quality of the story and/or characters. Yes, I admit it - I actually like watching the movies.

BTW, I've only read the first 5 books - then lost interest in the series. A bit too predictable for my tastes. Anyone else share my general lack of enthusiasm for the books?
