Swine Flu Mania Strikes!
On Saturday just before heading to the Tellus Science Museum, pixelmonster and I stopped at the Cartersville (GA) Waffle House (WH) for some quick grub. While ordering my food, I had a short 'pollen attack' (coughing and hacking).
At that moment, the WH cook staff all stopped and stared at me as IF I had the damned swine flu.
WTF?
There was only one confirmed case at the time in the entire state - and yet I was looked at as a friggen disease carrier. I shook my head in disgust and told these bozos - No, this is a pollen attack - I *don't* have swine flu.
Idiots.
(Now what I should have done is grunted and squealed a few times - then tell them.)
