plotting the next move
Declan is sitting at his desk, various papers and building schematics strewn across the tabletop, and across his bed, as he searches for the best route to get their specified group of Abnormals to safety. His eyes flick over everything again, back and forth as he scribbles a rough drawing on a yellow legal pad that he'll re-do once he's certain that this is the best plan.
His door is slightly ajar, a silent welcome for at least one of the tenants of the Sanctuary. Even though he knows that she's been busy lately, he still hopes Ashley will swing by at some point. After the trip out to Scotland with Will, he has been aching to see her, and the headache behind his eyes is begging him to stop at some point anyway.
He rubs at his eyes and leans back in the chair, stretching out the muscles in his stiff back as he wills the dull ache away.
