RIP: Grant Application (May 2003 - February 2006)
Unfortunately, the news on my grant application wasn't good. My score got slightly worse. Not significantly, but enough to probably kill its chances. So, three years of work bites the dust. I'm still waiting to get the review sheets, so I can at least see what the reviewers had in mind.
It's very very frustrating, to say the least. My score was so close on the second submission. To have things go in the wrong direction was an unpleasant surprise. I'm back on the job market now, since my chances for a faculty appointment here have decreased considerably.
Anyone know of any research faculty jobs out there? Will write grants for food! ;-)
