There were some Millwall boys in last night, all a bit pissed off because they'd had some bother at the game and not come off on top by the sounds of things. I was very happy to be able to cheer them up by playing 'Night Boat To Cairo' to which they went crackerdog. Another song that I played - I forget which now - prompted one of them to rush over and go 'ah this one brings back a few memories, I tell ya. When we was kids my brother - that's my brother over there - used to have to walk with a stick, and one day he got so excited dancing around to this he started swinging his stick around til he knocked the lampshade off. 'Course, me mother grabbed his stick and beat the shit out of him. Happy days.'
Was extremely happy that they also went wild to Luke Vibert's remix of mygreatshowbizchum Jamie Lidell 'A Little Bit More' which is TUNE OF THE YEAR so far.
