Happenings

There never is a dull moment at MV, always one to throw a curve ball at times. Colonial Days kicked off yesterday and we had 800 kids today. The doors were opened and they flowed through. But on the outside due to an up and coming event we couldn't use the ramps on the collanades. Makes things a little interesting for sure. Once the kids left things calmed down a bit which was nice. However these quiet days are probably over as things are just going to continue to get busier.

Got invited to a friend's St. Patty's day party. I'm excited for it as it sounds like a good time. Some of her college friends will be there and I won't have to worry about being pressured to drink.

Another friend of mine is going with me to see my High School's musical: Into the Woods. It's a fairy tale thing, something I'm not sure how to explain. If you're curious about it there's a synopis out there on google.

My Gristmill Tour is all written and I'm waiting to show it to one of my supervisors who is working in the school programs. Hope she likes it.

Other notes, I've seen in the past few weeks, four movies. Ladies in Lavendar, Must Love Dogs, The Wedding Date, & Under the Tuscan Sun. In order Ladies in Lavendar had great music and beautiful scenery, Must Love Dogs was cute with a single preschool teacher's family doing all they can to set her up with any available man. The Wedding Date was cute, enjoyed that one and lastly Under the Tuscan Sun was quite good. Italy is so beautiful, would love to visit there someday. Diane Lane plays a divorced woman who goes to Tuscany and ends up buying a villa there and staying.
