i am very lucky to have you. and instead of making another list...i'm writing one of my favorite memories i have of you.
it was fall and we were just leaving the mall, on our way to atlanta bread and target. we had the windows down because it was that time of the year when the air smells cool and clean. i had my shoes off and my feet on your dash, and we were listening to tbs. it was perfect. with our hair down and our voices loud. and for that short drive i felt completely happy. there was no thoughts of school or work. no thoughts of fights or obligations. it was just nice sitting in your car.
that's why i love you so much. because we don't have to be doing something all the time. we can just be in the car or on your couch watching sex and the city. not pretending or being fake.

Perhaps the reason things are different in school is because if we acted so happy and free like that all the time, people wouldnt understand and would try to take it from us. Maybe its best because we are the only people in Connecticut, or America, or maybe the world who know how much joy, however simple or modest, riding in the car with your hair down in the fall can bring you. I like being in that place, travelling between two destinations, because for that moment, it doesnt matter where we were or where we are going since we are together, screaming at the top of lungs and not caring whether or not the judgemental eyes of some insignificant person are baring down on us, or whether or not we failed that pre-cal test third period. I think, that with you, I could stay there forever.
