[fan account] that 1TYM danny hugged me!
i feel like this danny-hug story needs it’s own twitlonger but it's long enough for a post so (cos i have so much other stuff to tell but this one is def a big highlight!)...fast-forward to almost the end of DFLA taping on sunday. we had been standing in the sun all day, danny’s seen his bigass 90s heads we’ve been holding from saturday many times - from his fansigning to his panel (i asked a question omg why lol), to the random times i’ve seen him walking around and waving hi to him and then from all day at his DFLA taping. by this time he already recognizes me and my friends, calling us “the danny heads”, when we even put the head posters away and says something about it. lol. so there was a segment where they were picking people from the audience to get a hug from danny. my friend and i were tired from standing so we had brought chairs to sit closer but when we saw they were picking people, we stood up and raised the danny heads again!! danny wasn’t the one picking people (it was someone else on stage) but he was looking in our direction sometime when it was going on. so tell me why, we didn’t get picked?! they chose 6 people! but NOT the people with the huge danny heads. we specifically did this to be noticed by danny for such opportunities. LOL. IT'S THIS BIG.
i was happy for the people who did get picked but my friend and i were just sad for ourselves like
….wow…ಠ_ಠ....really…..that’s fucked up LOL. jokingly but seriously too cos ngl it hurt a little!! lol...honestly even tho i didn’t want to go on stage for a hug..i was hurt by it..haha..also weird cos i noticed other people looking at us..what a fail for us..haha.
but anyway, when they were done taping that part, my friend and i were just sitting back on our chairs (there’s only a small crowd so we were in plain view) and i yelled out “DANNY!” (i think i was tired and now comfortable with yelling out answers to danny from all the other times lol) and my friend and i raised up our arms and the huge danny heads like WTF BRUH ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ “REALLY?! WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?!” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(didn’t speak it, we were just miming lol) and shaking our heads in disappointment lol.
so danny was looking at us like, AND I QUOTE FOR REAL,“WHAT!?! (in like a ‘not my fault!’/ 'wth are you saying' lol way)”
and just casually says, “Oh. Well, when you see me out there just jump on me.”
PAUSE. HE SAID THAT OKAY. lol so we died and were happy again.
at the end of his taping, when danny came down to shake hands with the fans in front and thanking everyone, saying he had to realllyyyy go, i walked up to the side for my turn. totally tired and beat by the sun and still sad that i didn’t get a hug but hey i’ll take what i can get right. so i just stuck out my hand, didn’t say anything..maybe i looked in low spirits but i was just tired lol….so danny shook my hand BUT THEN. HE STOPPED FOR A MOMENT. HELD MY HAND IN LIKE THAT HOME-WASSUP-WAY EXCEPT A TRUE PAUSE LIKE HE THOUGHT/LOOKED AT ME FOR 2 SECONDS AND THEN WAS LIKE , “Alright, here’s your hug.” AND PULLED ME TO A HUG. IDK IF IT WAS A PULL TO A HUG BUT IT WAS A HUG LIKE SLOW-MO-CHERRY BLOSSOM-FLOWERS-FALLING-HUG IN MY MIND. and then he said he had to go and then he went off hugging others (my friend monica got a hug too!) after me before finally running off~~~ *O* <3 ♡x♡ X_X
