What a day! I slept in until 12 and then, when I decided to drag myself over to the English office to "get some things done," wildcard_47 was there visiting tkurogrym, and with them, Tonks and Lindsey! So I spent a lovely time basking in the presence of those four and being oh-so-glad that wildcard_47 is back in the States.
And now I have Season Two of "Doctor Who" (keke, I rhymed just then) which, though I am still terribly upset over the final epi of the first season, I have promised to watch. As if I could quit now. But the Ninth Doctor shall forever be the best Doctor, no matter how Ten may end up endearing himself to me in later episodes. Thanks to tkurogrym for endulging my new fandom experiment and lending me her DVDs!
Uber excited that my title was chosen as the new heading for the English department newsletter! I submitted a couple suggestions a while back when there was a call for new names, and I got an e-mail this evening congratulating me on the election of my nom, "The Back Cover," as *el título nuevo*! I think I threw out about four others: [N]evermore, Librophiles, Out of the Wardrobe... something like those. So squee! That means a $20 B&N gift certificate for amazing summer reading! Any suggestions?
Must adjourn for a staff meeting. So much to do before exams start on Friday!!
