Ah, finished the season, did we? Your reaction = my reaction when I first hit "Parting of the Ways." Much wailing and gnashing of teeth, cries of unfair and general mourning for Nine. I think I mourned through the entirety of Season 2 and only caught on to the bigger picture of the Ten/Rose dynamic long after. I still miss Eccles, as I think many fans do, but I'm shocked and amazed to be saying that I've learned to love Ten almost as much -- and for different things

And Bella, I STILL mourn for my Eccles, as you saw last night. But give Ten a chance. He's different, yes, but still somehow totally the doctor.

That does make sense, and gives me hope for the next couple of seasons. Hopefully, with that in mind, I won't drive myself mad(der) willing the Ninth Doctor back, and might come to appreciate the new Doctor. Who knows?

Keep track of how long it takes for you to warm to Ten. I'm curious. Fairly sure it'll happen, but curious. I was bloody stubborn about it, myself. Wasted good fan time, probably!
