Half Way to Representation

Well my feelings of doubt were incorrect. Madhouse liked my "Office" script! Yay! However, they want one more writing sample before agreeing to represent me.

My old TV writing teacher warned me that might happen. Generally agents and managers want two TV scripts. However, if they ask for a second one if MUST be as good as the first, otherwise it will kill the deal.

I have a "How I Met Your Mother" script, which is really good, but it's not as good my "Office" Script. It's good, but I don't think it could win a contest again.

So my dilemma is: what do I do? Should I try to fix up my HIMYM script? Should I pay for a coverage service? (Coverage is professional feedback which includes what works, what doesn't, and an overall pass or fail grade) Should I come up with a new idea and write something else?

I told the guy I was working on something and would have something by mid January. I'm just really nervous because I don't want to kill the deal.
