The Heart...
Aquarians combine love and freedom: they want to love and to be independent at the same time. It is necessary for them not to feet confined, because, in that instance, they become melancholy. Aquarians do not have a passionate disposition, even though they may express passion in a refined manner. They seek deeper relationships which go beyond passion. They are aware of the dangers of love, and may prefer what is known as platonic love. Aquarians seek someone who shares the same ideas and ideals. They do not evaluate other persons according to conventional criteria, such as physical attractiveness, but according to their ways of life. Because they do not measure trust according to presence and absence, they are willing to grant others the same freedom which they seek for themselves. Aquarians tend to regard true love as a communion of souls.
An Aquarian ideogram consists of two slightly slanted oscillating waves, symbolizing the flow of knowledge or the essense of energy. Hence, they can be compared to an electrical current: an Aquarian's perceptions are as rapid as lightning.
----------------------------------------------------
Aquarians are ruled by Uranus and while their symbol is a water bearer, they actually belong to an Air sign.
One can't really tell these people anything because they know everything already, and very often will tell you so. They can be completely confusing and contrary, unpredictable and incomprehensible, rushing here and there and constantly changing their moods.
On a positive level, this means that the Aquarian is eternally excited and exhilarated by what may lie round the corner. There may be sudden changes of career, luck or partner when Uranus decides to stage a shake-up.
Negatively, an Aquarian will want to change things just for the sake of it, because he or she longs to rock the boat. You never know what's going to happen next with an Aquarian. Life around an Aquarian can be a lot of fun, but it can also be very tiring.
Aquarians are unconventional, but they are also original and are said to be the geniuses of the Zodiac. They can be inventive and brilliantly clever, although sometimes, they are spectacular in a very strange way.
Aquarians are really born ahead of their time and can be very humanitarian by helping others. Yet, they find their own close relationships difficult to cope with. Aquarius is a fixed sign. So they can be intolerably inflexible and stubborn, unable to admit they are in the wrong at times. Aquarians tend to think of the future a great deal and keep wondering what will happen next.
At work, the Aquarian is a true reformer, adding new dimensions to mundane meetings with brilliantly inventive ideas. Unusual professions attract then and they usually go for jobs that don't have a regular routine. You may find it hard to be friendly with them, and though they are the sign of friendship, for an Aquarian, work is work, and friendship is friendship, and don't expect them to mix the two in office. Self employment was invented for Aquarians, which means they are free to do what they like and when they like.
Aquarians are also more self-sufficient than other signs and don't mind being alone all day, although they enjoy their friends and will use their incredible intuition to check out their character. They like their friends to be intelligent, however, may not approve of them being too clever or competitive, as they want to be in the driver's seat in all their relationships.
Love for an Aquarian is much more a state of mind than one of the heart. Often, they love someone when they realise they can rely on them as a mate or a mentor. But even then, they will not be expressive about their feelings.
If an Aquarian is emotional, the home will be all important and since they stress themselves to such an extent that they can become weak and may need rest, loads of space and freedom from everyone can help them to bounce back. The best way to keep Aquarians relaxed is to make sure they have something to do.
One thing you must know is that if an Aquarian decides to do something, nothing can come in his / her way. But for all this, life with an Aquarian either as a pal or a partner, will never be dull. Always a surprise, ready to spring to action at all times!
DO'S:
Aquarius are friendly and fascinating people. They have in-depth knowledge about various subjects and you can converse with them for hours without getting bored. They are capable of giving a lot of love that can be amazing. They have a very broad outlook of life and you can relax in their presence. They will always welcome your ideas and actions about humanitarian causes. To keep an Aquarius lover interested you must possess that mysterious and intriguing quality. Once hooked they will always be very faithful to you.
DON'TS:
Do not expect or plan a normal, simple and predictable life with an Aquarius partner. Aquarians are totally unpredictable. They can go to any direction without giving any advance notice. They are basically very restless and get bored easily. Though they are very friendly, do not expect them to reveal their inner most feelings to you (they never will). They can be detached and impersonal, which may seem strange to others.

The Symbolic Image...
This is the only zodiacal symbol represented by one man. Gemini is represented by two men, and Virgo is represented by a woman. When we reach the eleventh sign of the Zodiac, are we encountering an image of a fully developed human being? The sign is an image of a mature man.He has an alert expression, but does not seem to direct his attention to a specific spot. His body is extremely thin. He is holding one or two amphoras in his hands. He is pouring water from an amphora. This is the water of knowledge.Februaty., the Middle of WinterThe Sun seldom appears. The weather is cold- Seeds arc buried deep within the ground. The development of life is imperceptible to human eyes.
But this is the point at which the germination process is beginning.

An Aquarian is motivated by a quest for moral perfection. His expression is serious and tranquil.
He often pursues spiritual goals.
Air, the element symbolizing interchange, mobility, and diffusion, is associated with Aquarius. It is specifically represented by Aquarius' position within the zodiacal cycle. Among the triplicity of air signs, the fixed air of Aquarius, embodying a tendency to perceive things intuitively instead of through logical deduction, with the result that its natives are confident about their opinions, is situated between the cardinal air of Libra, representing sentimental attachments, and the mutable air of Gemini, representing friendship. In terms of attributes, Aquarians are intuitive, expressive, and extremely sentimental
An Aquarian is an individual who seems to have acquired a certain understanding of life. He inspires trust.

Astorm or rain can quickly appear within the Winter sky.
An Aquarian may adopt human brotherhood as his highest ideal. He develops friendships easily.
@ An Aquarian tends to reject conventional beliefs, and this may result in explosive anger.
Uranus and Saturn
Both Uranus and Saturn rule Aquarius.
= In the beginning, there was chaos in other words, formlessness and mystery. Gaea, the Earth Mother, appeared and gave birth to Uranus.
As the God of the Sky, Uranus, in order to create the world, impregnated his mother "by making a fertile rain fall upon her genitals."
Uranus and Gaea had many children, including the Cyclops and the Titans. Uranus exiled the Cyclops to Tartarus, one of the most remote locations on earth, and he deprived the Titans of their power.
Because Uranus ruled too strictly, Gaea encouraged the Titans to revolt against him.
Promethus, a grandson of Uranus, stole the celestial fire from Vulcan's forge in order to give it to mankind. Jupiter punished Prometheus by chaining him to Mount Caucasus, where an eagle devoured his liver each day.
Prometheus was freed from his chains by Hercules, and Jupiter welcomed him among the deities.
= Saturn is the other planet which rules Aquarius. Saturn dethroned his father with the sickle (a symbol of time) in order to avenge his brothers and sisters, the Titans. After ruling for a certain period of tirfie, Saturn was overthrown and took refuge in Italy, where he bestowed all of the benefits of his experience.
The Circulatory System
@ The bodily function associated with Aquarius is circulation of the blood.
Blood is the source of life for the entire organism.
An Aquarian seeks to give a new meaning to life in order to untangle its riddles. His ideas are often intrepid and daring, but his way of thinking can clarify situations which seem perplexing to others.
@ An Aquarian requires a vast amount of space, both physically and intellectually, because he is drawn toward the absolute. His fertile and imaginative mind motivates him to advance new ideas.
= The Cyclops represent demons of the unconscious or primitive instincts, and the Titans represent ambition, or the opposite of spiritual qualities. This myth can be associated with the behavior of Aquarians, who tend to ignore or to disdain instincts in pursuing pure ideas, which they do not expect to assume a tangible form in the immediate future.
@ By pursuing his admiration for spiritual values too zealously, an Aquarian may feel misunderstood by others and may have a sense of being persecuted.
= As a grandson of Uranus,
Prometheus can be regarded as an extension of Uranus. An Aquarian is often tempted to play the role of a "sorcerer's apprentice." He seeks to learn more in order to bestow light and knowledge upon humanity, but he is disinclined to learn through experience. He is prone to take risks, and may become a victim of over-confidence.
-----------------------------------------------------
Aquarians (January 20 to February 19) have in common with Sagittarians a love of liberty - the personal freedom for themselves and others - and an unconventional approach to life. Rarely, however, do they possess the Sagittarian's inbuilt 'luck factor', the capacity almost always to come out on top, even in the most adverse circumstances. And their humanitarian concern for the freedom and welfare of others sometimes lands them in difficult positions and works against their own interests. The Aquarian is always both idealistic and unconventional and he/she is sometimes a very difficult person. The problems that others find in dealing with pure Aquarians in either social or work situations arise from the Aquarian virtues - their idealism, their concern for others, and their freedom from stuffy conventions.
The trouble with Aquarians is that they never know when to stop. They are the sort of people who begin by demanding that there should be less discrimination against minorities and end by expressing their indignation that there are no job opportunities in piano tuning for the tone deaf. Not only are the pure Aquarian's opinions idealistic to the point of eccentricity, they are often expressed with extreme tactlessness and without regard for others' feelings. Sometimes this disregard for common sense goes to lengths which make it difficult to believe that there is not a desire to shock and surprise: the writer Frank Harris, whose horoscope was strongly Aquarian, was apt to lecture such friends as Oscar Wilde on the lives of medieval saints and then to recite improper rhymes to clergymen. If pure Aquarians can keep their enthusiasms within reasonable bounds - perhaps by working in co-operation with others whose feet are more firmly planted on the ground - they are delightful people who are loved by many and leave the world a better place than they found it. Notable Aquarian personalities include and have included the scientists Galileo and Charles Darwin; the writers Charles Dickens and Somerset Maugham; the philosopher Francis Bacon and the actress and political activist Vanessa Redgrave.

Sexuality and the Emotions
A good long-term relationship with a pure Aquarian is both stable and worthwhile - but not altogether easy to achieve. The Aquarian is usually happy if living alone, making his/her emotional forays when he/she wishes to do so and avoiding the restrictions, however pleasant, which are imposed by permanent relationships. When he/she does enter into longer-term relationships it is essential that there should be no feeling of being trapped, of being compelled to conform to convention and the pressures of family life. Provided that the Aquarian retains a sense of freedom, he/she makes an excellent partner for anyone who can cope with a certain amount of unpredictability and impracticality. An Aquarian is more likely to be concerned with the problems of the Bolivian tin mining industry than with digging the garden or unblocking the kitchen sink.
General Character
Most people take immediately to pure Aquarians. They may find their ideas a little too idealistic and impractical, but the personalities are so likeable, the approaches so friendly, that they cannot look upon them as other than thoroughly nice people. And yet, somehow or other, it is difficult to feel close to an Aquarian. However friendly the Aquarian may be - and Aquarians are almost invariably amicable - an impression of distance, of a barrier which cannot quite be demolished, always remains. The barrier is a very real one. Aquarians are never in quite the same world as the rest of us, for at least parts of their minds are always withdrawn from the reality around them and living in the world of their ideals. None of us sees the world exactly as it is - we all view the reality that surrounds us through the distorted lenses of our prejudices and misconceptions - but the pure Aquarian is more subject to defects of intellectual vision than anyone else.
All too often the Aquarian sees the world as he/she would wish it to be, with everyone concerned about each other's welfare and anxious to do good. This sometimes leads to disillusion and a conviction that wicked- ness is abroad in the world - the Aquarian is genuinely incapable of understanding the ruthless ambition of Aries and Scorpio or the financially prudent ways of Capricorn. The disillusioned Aquarian can be a very dangerous individual - the terrorist who tries to bomb the world into virtue, the cynic who feels that good is inevitably doomed to defeat.
If, however, the Aquarian can use hislher very considerable intellectual abilities to apprehend the world as it is, rather than as it might be, he/she can be a tremendous force for good - a reformer of things great and small, a person who transforms others' ways of looking at things. The pure Aquarian, whether he/she operates in only a small field of activities or in the greater world of politics and economics, is never an easy friend. But he/she can be a valued and very worthwhile one.
Life-Style
Aquarians are not the people to do things in the way they have always been done, to be satisfied with tried and trusted methods. Tell an Aquarian that something has been done in such-and-such a way since 1742 and that no one has ever complained about it before, and he/ she will immediately start pointing out the shortcomings of the system. This can be tiresome. Even more tiresomely the Aquarian will suggest a new system which, to the astonishment of all, often turns out to be an improvement on the old one if it is actually tried out. In fact it very rarely is tried out, which causes the Aquarian frustration and annoyance. To avoid this unhappiness it is essential that the Aquarian should seek his/ her living in a field of activity which is open to new ideas and innovation.
Radical administrations, both local and national, are always filled with pure Aquarians busily engaged in efforts to transform the lives of others for the better. Other fields in which Aquarians excel include social and charitable work, town planning, psychotherapy, economics, sociology, and anything else in which they feel they are making the world either a better place to live in or, as a cynical Capricornian might say, making a tiresome nuisance of themselves.

All about Aquarius Sign- Aquarius personality, traits and characteristics
Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 18)
Aquarius
Practical people - men and women of the world - mistakenly consider abstract thinking as impractical. It is true that the realm of abstract thought takes us out of the physical world, but the discoveries made in this realm generally end up having tremendous practical consequences. All real scientific inventions and breakthroughs come from this abstract realm.
Aquarians, more so than most, are ideally suited to explore these abstract dimensions. Those who have explored these regions know that there is little feeling or emotion there. In fact, emotions are a hindrance to functioning in these dimensions; thus Aquarians seem - at times - cold and emotionless to others. It is not that Aquarians haven't got feelings and deep emotions, it is just that too much feeling clouds their ability to think and invent. The concept of 'too much feeling' cannot be tolerated or even understood by some of the other Signs. Nevertheless, this Aquarian objectivity is ideal for science, communication and friendship.
Aquarians are very friendly people, but they do not make a big show about it. They do the right thing by their friends, even if sometimes they do it without passion or excitement. Aquarians have a deep passion for clear thinking. Second in importance, but related, is their passion for breaking with the establishment and traditional authority. Aquarians delight in this, because for them rebellion is like a great game or challenge. Very often they will rebel strictly for the fun of rebelling, regardless of whether the authority they defy is right or wrong. Right or wrong has little to do with the rebellious actions of an Aquarian, because to a true Aquarian authority and power must be challenged as a matter of principle.
Where Capricorn or Taurus will err on the side of tradition and the status quo, an Aquarian will err on the side of the new. Without this virtue it is doubtful whether any progress would be made in the world. The conservative-minded would obstruct progress. Originality and invention imply an ability to break barriers; every new discovery represents the toppling of an impediment to thought. Aquarians are very interested in breaking barriers and making walls tumble - scientifically, socially and politically. Other Zodiac Signs, such as Capricorn, also have scientific talents. But Aquarians are particularly excellent in the social sciences and humanities. Look also to Aquarius man and Aquarius woman.
About Aquarius
People who are born within the period between January 21 and February 19 belong to the zodiac sign, Aquarius, the water bearer. Water stands for that which is difficult to confine within physical boundaries. Specifically, our spiritual life is depicted in mystical symbols as water. Aquarius directly follows Capricorn in the astrological cycle. The sequence is appropriate. Capricorn stands for the established system where the duties and actuations of people have defined boundaries. To compensate for the lack of resiliency and creativity in a system where people behave only as they are dictated to do, Aquarians have a deep propensity for interaction and spontaneity.
Capricorn stands for the system as it should ideally be organized while Aquarius symbolizes the life of creativeness as human beings were meant to live it. Aquarians therefore love to cross their predefined social boundaries. They excel in interaction and are very skilled communicators. Although they are sociable, it is not to put on airs that they mingle with people. Their social life is rich because deep in themselves they know that man is a social being. Because they are not predisposed to limit their self-expression they can be tactless at times. However, the passion in their speech is merely an effort to express the spiritual ideals of human beings, ideals which, in the process of maintaining order in society, are often forgotten. The heaven of Aquarians is not the perfect and harmonious organization of Capricorn, but a place where no externally imposed order is necessary because everyone is conscious of being part of the whole and acts on that conviction. The spiritual idealism of Aquarius may manifest as a love of the occult and magic, a belief in the power of dreams. Related to his love for the supernatural, Aquarius likes surprises and mysterious events. Aquarians are also in love with their spiritual nature and therefore susceptible to the temptations of fame. Because they are not materially inclined, they are not given to over spending. Although they appreciate the value of money, they are not inclined to attach that much importance to it.
Aquarius personality traits
Aquarius in love
Aquarians are good at friendships, but a bit weak when it comes to love. Of course they fall in love, but their lovers ,i I ways get the impression that they are more best friends Mian paramours.
Like Capricorns, they are cool customers. They are not prone to displays of passion or to outward demonstrations of their affections. In fact, they feel uncomfortable when their mate hugs and touches them too much. This does not mean that they do not love their partners. They do, only they show it in other ways. Curiously enough, in relationships they tend to attract the very things that they feel uncomfortable with. They seem to attract hot, passionate, romantic, demonstrative people. Perhaps they know instinctively that these people have qualities they lack and so seek them out. In any event, these relationships do seem to work, Aquarius' coolness calming the more passionate partner while the fires of passion warm the cold-blooded Aquarius.
The qualities Aquarians need to develop in their love life are warmth, generosity, passion and fun. Aquarians love relationships of the mind. Here they excel. If the intellectual factor is missing in a relationship an Aquarian will soon become bored or feel unfulfilled. More on Aquarius compatibility matches.
Aquarius and finance
In financial matters Aquarians tend to be idealistic and humanitarian - to the point of self-sacrifice. They are usually generous contributors to social and political causes. When they contribute it differs from when a Capricorn or Taurus contributes. A Capricorn or Taurus may expect some favour or return for a gift; an Aquarian contributes self-lessly.
Aquarians tend to be as cool and rational about money as they are about most things in life. Money is something they need and they set about acquiring it scientifically. No need for fuss; they get on with it in the most rational and scientific ways available.
Money to the Aquarian is especially nice for what it can do, not for the status it may bring (as is the case for other Signs). Aquarians are neither big spenders nor penny-pinchers and use their finances in practical ways, for example to facilitate progress for themselves, their families or even strangers.
However, if Aquarians want to reach their fullest financial potential they will have to explore their intuitive nature. If they follow only their financial theories - or what they believe to be theoretically correct - they may suffer some losses and disappointments. Instead, Aquarians should call on their intuition, which knows without thinking. For Aquarians, intuition is the short-cut to financial success.
Aquarius career and public image characteristics
Aquarians like to be perceived not only as the breakers of barriers but also as the transformers of society and the world. They long to be seen in this light and to play this role. They also look up to and respect other people in this position and even expect their superiors to act this way.
Aquarians prefer jobs that have a bit of idealism attached to them - careers with a philosophical basis. Aquarians need to be creative at work, to have access to new techniques and methods. They like to keep busy and enjoy getting down to business straightaway, without wasting any time. They are often the quickest workers and usually have suggestions for improvements that will benefit their employers. Aquarians are also very helpful with their co-workers and welcome responsibility, preferring this to having to take orders from others.
If Aquarians want to reach their highest career goals they have to develop more emotional sensitivity, depth of feeling and passion. They need to learn to narrow their focus on the essentials and concentrate more on the job in hand. Aquarians need 'a fire in the belly' - a consuming passion and desire - in order to rise to the very top. Once this passion exists they will succeed easily in whatever they attempt.
Life of Aquarius
In family and domestic matters Aquarians can have a tendency to be too non-conformist, changeable and unstable. They are as willing to break the barriers of family constraints as they are those of other areas of life.
Even so, Aquarians are very sociable people. They like to have a nice home where they can entertain family and friends. Their house is usually decorated in a modern style and full of state-of-the-art appliances and gadgets - an environment Aquarians find absolutely necessary.
If their home life is to be healthy and fulfilling Aquarians need to inject it with a quality of stability - yes, even some conservatism. They need at least one area of life to be enduring and steady; this area is usually their home and family life.
Venus, the Planet of Love, rules the Aquarian's 4th Solar House of Home and Family as well, which means that when it comes to the family and child-rearing, theories, cool thinking and intellect are not always enough. Aquarians need to bring love into the equation in order to have a great domestic life.
Aquarius Sign characteristics
In the Aquarius- born, intellectual faculties are perhaps the most highly developed of any Sign in the Zodiac. Aquarians are clear, scientific thinkers. They have the ability to think abstractly and to formulate laws, theories and clear concepts from masses of observed facts. Geminis might be very good at gathering information, but Aquarians take this a step further, excelling at interpreting the information gathered.

= Nevertheless, an Aquarian is capable of overcoming weaknesses, and he can acquire self-control
@ Whereas Aquarians seek to outdo themselves in mastering new ideas (stealing the heavenly fire), they are conscious of time, duties, and responsibilities. This aspect accounts for their ambivalence and for their difficulties in reconciling contradictory tendencies: they are externally expressive, but internally reserved. Aquarians are deeply humanitarian and altruistic
Aquarian traits include diffusion, transmission, and circulation. An Aquarian disseminates life and warmth.
These sources provide the zodiacal formula for Aquarius: a personality representing Winter, stability, air, Uranus, and Saturn, as well as being associated with circulation of the blood. The symbolic qualities can be more fully described in the following form:
An Independent and Humanitarian Temperament
Under the influence of Uranus, Aquarians often show little respect for tradition and customs. They tend to eliminate considerations which they consider secondary, and they are spontaneous, but sometimes thoughtless. Their behavior is unpredictable because they are eternally youthful. The career and temperament of James Dean reflect this state of mind: he had an angelic appearance and "was driven to seek absolutes ' " Aquarians tend to promote their own individual rights and those of others. They possess strong
humanitarian instincts, as in the instance of Abraham Lincoln in his fight against slavery. Calm and serene like the pure sky of January, Lincoln also reflected the influence of Uranus': he oriented the United States toward a quest for racial justice.
An Intuitive Mind
It is not surprising that many Aquarians have been brilliant scientists or inventors: Galileo and Darwin, for example, permitted us to envision a different "order" in our world, either on a macrocosmic scale (Galileo) or a microcosmic one (Darwin). Ampere, Edison, and the Montgolfier brothers provided advances in communication. Aquarians tend to be precursors, and to have scientific inclinations. Nevertheless, their quest for the ideal can also lead to mysticism: Eckhart and Saint Francis of Assisi were Aquarians. Will the sorcerer's apprentice be a victim of his failures (Prometheus), or can he master himself through experience (Saturn)? Will he be a person who directs his eyes toward the heavens in search of enlightenment? Only the rest of his horoscope, and especially relationships between the Sun and other heavenly bodies, or psychic forces, can suggest how an Aquarian may develop. An Aquarian's mode of thought can be symbolized by a mathematical equation or a musical stave.
