"EFFFF!" as catiekeane would say.

Ben Folds was f'ing amazing live! I mean, duh. I knew this already here (scroll to bottom of that post).

Little did I know that Missy Higgins was opening up for him too. That was so cool. I've been listening to Missy for a few years, thanks to a friend of a friend who knows who she is :)

Ben Folds played a lot of his new and fake stuff. This just goes to show you that "fake" songs still mean something to them. In fact, I think I like a couple of the "fake" ones more than the real ones, such as "Bitch Went Nutz" and "Brainwascht." He also sprinkled some old favorites, such as "Underground," "Zak and Sara," "Army," and "Not The Same."

I just don't know what else to say. Ben Folds has been a favorite of mine since 1997 when I heard BFF song "Battle of Who Could Care Less" on a CMJ mix with Ani Difranco's "Untouchable Face." Then, "Brick" exploded, so yeah... There you go.

Ben Folds, I have to say, is probably the best piano player I've ever seen live. I think my other friends who've seen him live will concur with that.

If you would like to see pics from the show, see them here: Missy Higgins and Ben Folds.

You'd be right if you guess that these next two pics took place during both versions of the "Frown Song":
