shoulda put a ring on it
You people are smart, witty, thoughtful, sassy, and clever. So, of course, this means I want your help. Perils of being awesome, I guess.
ANYWAY, here’s the thing. Next week is Wes and my engageaversary (that’d be the one year anniversary of the day we got engaged, naturally). A year ago I was acting totally crazy and messed up his plan of making the proposal into a big romantic surprise, so I was thinking that I could turn the tables on him and do something awesome and mushy to celebrate the occasion. We’re probably not going to celebrate this again (come next year, we’ll have a wedding anniversary to celebrate, yikes), so I figured I could make this fun and romantic and silly and fabulous.
However, it’s one week away and I find myself without ANY ideas. One suggestion was to get him a big tacky plastic ring as a fake proposal, but I don’t know if that’s our style. I also can’t decide if I should try and surprise him out on the town, or do something smaller and closer to home.
Basically, I’m at a total loss.
