STARBUCKS, THIS IS A RECESSION. STOP TEMPTING ME WITH YOUR AMAZING ASSORTMENT OF TEAS

Half Three quarters of the reason why I prefer Starbucks over Dunkin Donuts (BOSTONIAN SACRILEGE, I KNOW) is because I can't drink coffee. My wallet, my Boston-born-and-bred compunctions, and my sleep habits all despise this, believe you me. But it gives me roaring migraines (yes, even if it's decaf); tea, on the other hand, does not (yes, even caffinated tea; no, I don't understand it either). At Dunkin Donuts, my options for tea are Dunkin Donuts brand looseleaf tea (which, hi, I have tastier ones at home) or their chai, which is really, really gross to me. The vanilla and nutmeg and something else all make it really inedible. I don't hate DD; I can have their bottled drinks and their ridiculously delicious baked goods (mmmmmm donuts and bagels and muffins, oh my). But if I'm looking for a toasty beverage that I can tolerate, it's a chai from Starbucks. And now? Now they're offering more tea lattes (because I'm a geek: a 'tea latte' is typically a strong black tea mixed with steamed milk and sugar, plus flavored syrups, such as almond and vanilla).

You guuuuuys. Their website says, and I quote: Welcome to Tea Time at Starbucks. I AM POWERLESS TO RESIST.

London Fog Tea Latte
Delicate, floral earl grey tea with Italian bergamot, vanilla and lavender.

Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte
Full leaf African rooibos tea (naturally caffiene free), also known as red tea, paired with Tahitian vanilla and cinnamon. Sweetened with classic syrup and topped with steamed milk and velvety foam.

Black Tea Latte
With a bold, invigorating aroma, black tea has hints of dark caramel, malt and black cherries.

OMG EARL GREY TEA WITH HOT MILK?! YES, PLEASE. Maybe just thinking about one will help me survive today. x_x
