*grinds teeth*

So, I overheard my boss going on and on about a sign that had been taped to our office fridge today. Our fridge has French doors (translation: two doors that open outwards), and sometimes they get stuck somewhat open, which lends our fridge to defrosting itself. I made the sign to remind folks that yes, the doors should be CLOSED when you are done using the fridge. It's a sign, nothing that fabulous. The sign says, in Arial black: "PLEASE! When you are done with the refrigerator, make sure the doors are completely closed!" The last two words are slightly larger than the rest, and are in a relatively generic shade of blue.

My boss was going on and on and on about how lovely the sign was, how well-worded it was, about the typeface of the sign, that the shade of blue was absolutely divine, about the placement of the sign, etc., etc. She was speaking to essentially a colleague of hers, and she was agreeing with her over and over. I was sitting, smiling to myself, and waiting for her to come up to me to ask about the sign, because she always asks me about things like that.

And then, I hear--
"It's really lovely. [Name of co-worker who is not me] must have made it.

*facepalm* *goes home, swills booze*
