For the life of me, I don't understand most religion. There is a brilliant and beautiful subjectivity to it all that is undone and destroyed by too many practitioners with too much zeal.

It disturbs me that people force logic and structure onto that which is necessarily beyond logic and structure. Religion is divine, but theology is sinful. Why not embrace the carnal, irrational, psychotic, and misanthropic sides to one's humanity? Is Erostratus -in life and fiction- not an expression of the human condition, in which we all find ourselves?
