I have never been as obsessed with a TV show as I am with Veronica Mars...I spend about half-hour every day searching the internet for any and all news I can find concerning if the show will get picked up by The CW. I don't look at spoilers or anything like that

I wouldn't worry about VM not coming back. In fact, in the initial press release of CW, it was stated by the president of CW and the head of programming that Gilmore Girls and VM would be airing back to back. Both series were the first two named in press releases as being safe shows.

The move to Tuesday nights -- it's not entirely about ratings -- but moving it now after GG will make audiences get use to it when the Fall hits in September.

Yes, that's what I read also..They're trying to build a GG/VM block before next Fall.

The scariest thing for me is that it only retains about 50% of Top Model's audience which is considered a huge failure...But Top Model is not nearly as good a lead-in as GG is.

I know, I know...but the ratings have slipped since that point.

But I do agree with you that it's probably not going anywhere...

Like I said, I'm just bracing myself for the worst possible scenario.

I was very relieved to read the comments and see that Gilmore Girls won't be cancelled. Whew. And if they move Veronica Mars to right after Gilmore Girls, I might just be able to watch it. There are far too many things that come on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM CST (LOST, American Idol...).

Oh yeah...Gilmore Girls is definitely safe. Next season will most likely be the last though.

I can see that. It's been on the air for a while, and I'm not sure where else they can go with it.
