Since I've last updated I have done a lot of traveling.

First to Philly and then to Silver Spring, MD. Both were weekend trips to see some people who I haven't hung out with in a while.

In Philadelphia I went with believeinlife and animamusika to meet up with Kevin and Rob and special guest star Priya. The big event was the following day when we headed over to Claire's shinny new digs in the city. It was great seeing her for the first time in like forever.

Then there was my trip to Silver Spring.
-involving a scrabble tournament
-and a nationals game

And the nationals pitcher being a rookie I probably should cut him some slack, but I won't.

Lance Berkman has six steals against lefties this year. Clearly, he is not a threat to run. The person at the plate, Carlos Lee, is the second best hitter in the ballpark. Why would you for a second take your eye off of him? Why split your attention? Berkman isn't going anywhere, he wasn't even leading. But that is what the pitcher did, took his eye off of El Ceballo and every time he looked over to Berkman his next pitch was awful. I just don't get it. How many times does that pattern have to repeat itself before you notice it? If you are the catcher, bench player, coach or manager of the Nationals its at least 25 and that is sad.

There was the watching of a few good men. I do love that movie. And even more now since David Iglesias (Former US attorney and the basis for Tom Cruise's character) went on the daily show and called Bush and Cheney Sith Lords.

Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser returned to Israel, in coffins. It is a rather depressing way to start the day.

So to counter act the bad news:
