How about some good news?
Major thumbs up to Nevada Gov. Kenny C. Guinn and other state officials for ordering that the symbol of the Wiccan faith be affixed to a memorial plaque of a soldier who died in combat in Afghanistan. It is quite nice that the government is finally accepting that there are more then two religions out there.
Big thumbs up to the state of Maryland, there is still no winner in the Democratic primary in the fourth district. Lets go edwards!
Small thumbs up for the METS. They clinched their first titled since 1988, but they got swept by the Pirates. They kept the pirates out of last place.
Thumbs up to Studio 60 on the sunset strip. I enjoyed the first episode, but won't write about until I have the time to fully write about it.
Just a bit of bad news: Thailand has new government because while the leader of the country was here visiting the UN the army took over the country..
