during a cold and stormy night, a college student was sitting in his room spending his last moments awake pondering his life. His mind was a tornado of movement just like the weather outside his dorm room. His thoughts travel to warmer climates filled with cold people in terible situations. His mind travels to thoughts about his brother and his solitary life. He just found out that his brother will be in prison till atleast february of 2020. As the college student sits in his chair, he thinks about life and the situations life presents us with. He realizes that when you ask a few people the same question, each person gives their own answer. So, in this world of individuality, he wonders how he will ever find someone he can be in a relationship. For some people the price of individuality for them sacrices their chances at relationships.
In these moments of deep thought, this college freshmen thinks about past events in his life and the decisions he made in those situations. Were they the right ones? After a time thinking on these small moments in his life, he realizes he could have handled them differently, but those events are from the past and thats where they should stay. We all regret some choices we have made throughout our lives, but those choices define each of us like wrinkles define age. Think of it as a house made of cards, each card represents a choice made by you in your life, if you take one card back, you(the house) falls and becomes something totally different.
"Life is a hallway where the door behind you leads to the past and the door in front of you leads to your future. When you look back through the past, you'll miss whats happening right now and get your face slammed in the door."
