(no subject)
I'm having *way* too much fun making this "Canadian Mix" for my co-worker's daughter, who's "Proud to be Canadian". I'm only putting on songs that mention Canada or reference Canada or parts of Canada in some way. I've got 21 tunes on here - some Worms, of course, some Fruvous, Tractor, Dead Trolls, Spirit of the West, David Francey and "Cherry Road" from Martina. It's mostly humorous stuff, with a little bit of serious stuff at the end, followed by the Dead Trolls' infamous "I Am Canadian" speech. Once I started putting this together, I found that I could make two or three CDs if I really wanted to. But I only wanted to make one....ya know, 'cause I'm lazy. I put on "Tommy" from EFO though. So there's some American representation. Go me.
On a serious note: I think I might take a break from reading some diaries for awhile. The cattiness is getting too much for me. I hate reading this stuff, and then feeling like I should question my opinions and feelings for people. I like whom I like, and for my reasons, and it's sad to see people that I care about snarking at each other. Especially when I don't know the back-story and really don't want to know....
