We weren't quite ready to give up entirely on the Paris idea, so I looked into it some more and found an airline that has some really good prices for the days we want to go. I was just looking at airfare to go to Paris at the end of the year, and it is not looking fiscally wise. I mean, we do have that windfall, but we have to pay for a hotel, too. We finally wrote a Yelp review for our travel agent today! And it only took us three weeks! I understand we're under no obligation to write a review at all, but she was very helpful and we wanted to reciprocate...we just swamped with work and weddings and things.
