Today I got a text message from the ward music director asking me to play the hymns more slowly, and it has me inordinately upset. When I'm not the one playing the organ, one of the hardest things for me is when the hymns are too slow, so naturally I like to play them faster. So...I wasn't planning to talk about this at all because it's not nice to talk about people behind their backs, much less on the internet where everyone can see it, but it's affecting us a lot more than we expected and we really need some support. So here we are venting about it on the internet.
