The strange and wondrous thing that happened this week is that, after all our hectic work yesterday, we're actually finished, perhaps for the entire year. This is such an unusual situation that we're not entirely sure what to do with ourselves. I mean, we have plenty of video games to catch up on, so there's that of course, but when we've been so busy for so long, there's always the question of whether or not it's okay to spend the whole day relaxing...especially when there are things that have been neglected in favor of paying work.
For example, we have piles of boxes of comp copies that need to be sorted. Since we get multiple copies of each book, the idea is to keep one copy of each, and donate the rest to our local library system. It seems like a pretty simple plan, but it also requires us to go outside. Also, we don't have a car, which makes transportation of books quite difficult. We do have a library within reasonable walking distance, but books are heavy.
Anyway, for today we decided it was mostly okay to relax. We did do some grocery shopping, and I practiced the piano for the choir performance on Sunday. But other than that, it was back to Pokemon! We finally managed to get back to the new DLC...but the first member of the Elite Four we challenged totally schooled us, so we decided we'd rather work on filling up the Pokedex and leveling up first. (Of course Athena has Pokemons that could wipe the floor with Amarys's, but...)
Then we watched Miraculous. We decided the obvious nickname for the season five finale is the Nightmare, because we're hoping it's literally Adrien's nightmare, but if it's not, it's figuratively our nightmare. Either way, it works.
Today I'm thankful for getting to take it easy, having some appropriate wrapping paper with which to wrap the Christmas gifts from Mom and Steve, getting to play a bunch of Pokemon, finding a Plusle, and finding out that we can already watch Dragons of Wonderhatch (and therefore having plans to do so tomorrow).
