My internet went down for like an hour. I nearly had a heartattack. Luckily I still have The Guild episodes to watch so I finished s2. It's awesome and hilarious and also it's really making me want to get into a "real" gaming community again. I used to play A LOT of Puzzle Pirates (it's this adorable Java-based MMORPG with cute pixely pirates and you play in crews and flags and pillage and fight and stuff), but after 6 years I've finally gotten pretty tired of it. Also the server I play on is slowly but surely going dead (on any given time there's like 100-600 people on, and most of them are just casually checking in), and all the oldies are gone. :( I had so many cool friends there and now I never talk to them anymore. Guess gaming buddies aren't BFFs... :/
Guess I'll have to start trying new ones, but I'm really picky in that I want one where people aren't completely awful to everyone. I'm spoiled from PP, it's the nicest gaming community possible. Constantly horrified on L4D2 by people's insane assholeness (shuddup, it's late), it's like they were all raised by naziwolves.
And aside from that I don't want too complicated, high fantasy games with the magic and the orbs and orcs and weirdness, but I don't like to kill people either so some kind of supernatural/scifi element is necessary. Either that or rrrreally unrealistic gameplay.
I'm sure this is all terribly fascinating, but I needed to vent before bed. Guessing I don't have any Puzzle Pirates-playing flisters? Or even any gaming-geek ones? Course not, you people probably all have lives and stuff. ;) Ugh, lives, I'd rather play high fantasy...
