First things first: make some friends!
The "I Need More Friends"
Friending meme I've managed to snag one so far, which is one more than I had when I woke up this morning! I wish making real friends were as easy as on LJ. I've been on a bit of a friends roll here lately, think I got 3 or 4 new ones in the last week, so official hi to you all and feel free to run away screaming if you want. Don't worry, I'm used to it, it's a common reaction.
Either way, fill that out, make some friends, spread it around like butter on a biscuit!
First day of seeeerious autumn-weather here today and I've been feeling it, been feeling it bad. I do love autumn and the coming of darker times, because it means I get to hold up indoors and hardly ever have to leave my apartment which is my natural state of being. But it always comes coupled with the feeling of all the oxygen being sucked out of the room so I can't breathe, and that I'm less keen on. :/
Oh well, I'll get used to it, sooner or later. Onto the important things in life: TV!
True Blood: Aw yeah, I knew he could do it! Congrats, Alan Ball, you've officially turned me off Eric/Sookie to the point of actually making me physically nauseous during their scenes. No, really, I wanted to fast-forward during them! In fact, this episode = first time on this show I've paused to see how much I had left to watch and then groan loadly when realizing I'm only half-way through. And not because it was a spectacularly bad episode, we've had plenty of those, but I guess I've just had it, with everyone and everything. Right now, the only people I feel even mildly interested in are Jessica (especially now that she's broken up with Hoyt who went from aww to EWW in about 2 heartbeats) and, weirdly, Bill - but only when he's being King Bill - ultimate prick! Or Daddy Bill - loving father to Jessica. Sorry AB, making me un-ship one couple does not magically make me ship another - I still hate Bill's face when he's being Boyfriend Bill - the controlling asshole.
The Glades: Improvement! This season has been the textbook definition of sophomore slump, it's like all the writers are just phoning it in. But this was some improvement over the last 7 episodes or so, with atleast some sweet Jim/Callie stuff and some excitement and gators and Carlos being forced to hunt for boar poop with an over-enthusiastic Daniel. Right after he'd showered. Hee. Carlos, you're like the Oliver Shaw of The Glades. Daniel, you're the Dov, only more of an eager nerd.
Leverage: I shouldn't even bother saying anything about this show anymore, it just makes me mad. Basically see above, re: phoning it in, and multiply by 5. Ugh, cannot stand lazy writing.
ETA: Lots more new friends now, hi all! :D *Happydance*
