Is there no happy medium?
This summer is like a roller coaster, and right now we're on a high.. where it's still over 20 degrees in the middle of the night. Last weekend it was single digits in the middle of the night :P It seems we warm right the heck up until we can hardly stand it and the humidity is such that you can cut the air with a knife... and then the sky barfs water all over us (to say it "rains" would be far to mild..), and it's almost TOO cool. And then we get like 2 days of pleasant summer weather. and then it's too hot for my taste again ;P
reason #23648 I love my new apartment: air conditioning.
(though, having lived without it for so long, I'm not used to the fact that what I wear around the house is not going to be the same as what I want to wear outside. in full on sweat suit right now... but thanks to my being outside on my bike already today for my chiropractor appointment I know I need to change into shorts and lose the sweater before I head back out there again... wearing pants outside this morning was torture...)
Now that I'm thoroughly cooled down, I'm going to go make some tea to sip while I unpack some.. and then bake some cookies (cream cheese icebox cookies - whipped up dough this morning, been waiting in freezer for required 3+ hours)
Unrelated, watched episode 9 of The Tudors last night. I don't have episode 10 :( boo!
(actually, I guess it's related.. if I had ep 10, I could watch it now instead of unpacking...)
