lazy days
Since returning home from house sitting, nothing too exciting has happened. I finished the baby sweater I was working on yesterday, or friday night... I'm many repeats into the pretty pink lace scarf.. I have been avoiding blocking and seaming my dad's sweater... Mostly I've just been knitting, and watching season 2 of House.
Fluff has been really sucky lately, lots of jumping up into my lap to sit and purr :) I love when he does this - he used to crawl into my lap every morning while I had my tea and cereal. He's such a huge, warm, purrball.. and so content to just BE. Tristan won't just sit in my lap, he needs to be rubbed and petted and scritched and rubbed some more, and he'll get right up in your face about it :P When he's in the room when Fluff wants up, I try to draw his attention to how a GOOD lap cat behaves :P
I should brush Fluff today. I think I officially will finally brush him today. Please beat me with a stick if I don't.
Working this weekend, hasn't been too bad. I had had plans to go to a BBQ last night, but the BBQ got canceled and Adam made plans elsewhere, so I was left high and dry. Yeah, I'm a bit less then impressed... he intended to call me at 830pm to let me know :P (I had called him at 7, though)
Today when I finished midday walks&snacks at work, I headed to the mall for some secret palk shopping... I may have spent a bit too much, but I'm super excited to put these packages together :) (it's for 2 different secret pal exchanges) I still have to order some yarn, and finish up the baby sweater, but otherwise their Super Duper packages are about ready to go!
I meant to go grocery shopping as well - going to use the crock pot again tomorrow! But I got more then anticipated at the mall and my napsack was pretty heavy.. so I think I'll just go to amrket fresh in the morning for whatever I need for the crock pot recipe, then go to the grocery store for whatever else I need while the stuff is stewing. I have most of the ingredients already, it was just a couple things missing. And I could substitute for one or two of them.
Anyhow, that's how exciting my life is right now ;P
