the dream is just that
I am poor, and have always been poor. I used to dream, but recently I have given up on my version of "the american dream". My version was simple, own a house, own a car, and pay all my bills with enough left over for a little recreation, all of the above without owing anyone, or having massive debt. Is that so much to ask, obviously. I will still go to school to try and obtain some degree or certificate (radiography atm), but I have given up on the notion that something so simple, so pure, is obtainable.
