Chuck

I don't even know what the title was or what episode #.

For a few moments there, at the beginning, I thought I was about to get Kripked Chucked. Alas, there was no plastic lightsaber involved and I guess it's been obvious from the start that Chuck is Morgan's hero. Still! It is always fun when my fanon gets affirmed.

I liked all the different emotional threads they had, and how Sarah's outsider, bigger-picture spy point of view was in counterpoint to Chuck and Morgan's friendship. And then you have the good of the many vs. saving the one life issue. Sarah hasn't had friendships and family the way Chuck has so she's left only with the good of the many--looking after people she doesn't know at all. While Chuck's experiences make him always pick the one person before the bigger picture. Casey's a bigger picture guy too but we don't know as much about why he is--a question duty and honor and service maybe, but emotionally he's aligned with Sarah. So interesting that he more quickly got why Chuck had to save Morgan. It seems like Casey's had a more normal life than Sarah has had.

So, y'know, that moment when they thought Chuck died, that was sweet. Casey looked like he was in complete shock and dang, Sarah always has the best sad faces. So much for bigger picture. They were both all about Chuck, and only Chuck, in that moment.

Also like Morgan stepping up in the end.

And I am very ♥_♥ about the Chuck'nSarah moment there.

Hee! Aw, Jeffster, long may you rock on with your dorkiness.

In other news, the new U2 album is streaming on myspace, right now.

u2, chuck
