When did terrier become a breed? There seems to be this HUGE issue with people. Everyone thinks that "Terrier" is a breed. I cannot tell you how many times this week I have explained to someone that "Terrier" is a group and includes everything from the tiny 3 pound yorkie to the large 70 lb airdale to the amstaff ( Read more... )

Just read one in another community refer to her lab/dane mix as a labradane. I bit my tongue. :/

I saw that one too and kept scrolling down the page. I think my favorite was the woman who insisted that the AKC recognized her mix as a purebred....she called it a Chiweener. She knew it was an AKC recognized breed because her husband told her so. I do have to give the husband credit for getting her to believe that.

Love the icon btw.

LMFAO

She believes him???? I don't know if it's funnier finding the page to prove her wrong, or to just let her believe it...

A few people linked her to the page, mostly because she was insisting she had seen it on the AKC site, but just didn't have the time to look for it. *rolls eyes*

oy.

Please tell me she hasn't (and won't) reproduce?

Unfortunately I can't guarantee that. I do, however, fully support intelligence testing as a requirement for both pet owner ship and child-bearing.

amen. If only we could enforce it. mbif and I have decided to eventually take over the world and make it a requirement to have a special license to own a pet and that stupid people can't reproduce.

Now we just have to come up with a plan to take over the world...

Ugh. chiweener. :S

And thanks!! Does Loki live up to his name?

Loki's a her, but the name fit too well to pass up. She is full of mischief and pranks (she loves to hide things). She earned her name and lives up to it 99% of the time.

Sorry, my bad for assuming she was a he. :) rottnpagan August 3 2005, 18:00:13 UTC
*grin* Sounds like a Loki to me!

I have a beardie named Loki who's also a girl.

Tricked us, cuz until she was fully grown, everyone thought she was a he...

hehe We knew my Loki was a girl. But sometimes you just have to go with the name they earn. I say this as she is curled up asleep in the curtain she pulled down....again.
